What’s Included

An initial assessment to see where you are in the business building process, what you want, what you already have in place, and what you need. We’ll personally assess what sort of business you want to create so that you’re investing your time in what’s ideal for you.

Four interactive, 2-hour “work” sessions where you’ll see demos on how to create an effective website and how to attract clients and have client enrollment conversations. You’ll be able to ask questions and get personal feedback on everything you do throughout the month.

The Engaged Space with Barb Patterson and Rohini Ross, a 30 day self-guided program designed to help you engage from a curious, “dumb” place as you take consistent action and gain momentum in your business.

A Quick Start Resource Guide with information on everything you need to start your business, including website and social media tools, and information about podcasting, course platforms, bookkeeping, scheduling, and payment systems. 

Recordings of calls with Steve Chandler (the “godfather of coaching”) on selling and client attraction and Michelle Barry Franco on messaging and speaking.

Forum support throughout the month as you take action on the ideas and lessons shared in the program.

WEEK 1

What you really need to get started in business: technical and client enrollment basics with Dr. Amy Johnson, Dror Amir, Nipper Sorensen, and Julie Chazotte

We will walk you through everything you need to create your first website or improve your current one, and receive payments from clients. We will begin to talk about having enrollment conversations with potential clients. We’ll introduce The Engaged Space and also begin an ongoing discussion about pricing and coaching packages. 

You’ll leave Session #1 with homework related to creating your website template and content, which you’ll bring to the next session.

WEEK 2

Website creation walkthrough and client enrollment demo with Dror Amir, Nipper Sorensen, and Julie Chazotte

Dror and Nipper will walk you through a website creation demo using the content you created after Week #1. You’ll also watch a client enrollment demo with Julie and discuss this with the group.
Your Session #2 homework will be related to practicing the enrollment part of a coaching session and sharing your experience with the group on the forum and on our next call.

Thursday, June 16th at 3pm ET (12pm PT, 8pm UK)

WEEK 3

More on websites, enrollment conversations and mailing lists with Dror Amir and Nipper Sorensen

In Week #3, Dror and Nipper will provide personal feedback and support on your website. There will be another enrollment conversation demo and we’ll discuss how to create and nurture a mailing list (even if it’s small).

WEEK 4

Workshopping websites, enrollment, and social media with Dror Amir & Nipper Sorensen

Dror and Nipper will workshop some participant websites live during the session. They will lead a discussion around enrollment conversation practice sessions and troubleshoot any issues that may be arising. Finally, they will guide you in creating a simple social media strategy for your business.

FAQ

Will the sessions be recorded in case I can’t attend them all live?

Yes, you will receive recordings of all 4 live sessions. You’re encouraged to attend live if possible as these sessions will be interactive, but you will receive recordings of everything.

Will I have the opportunity to get personal feedback on some of my business ideas?

Yes! All of the calls will include time for personal questions and feedback. You’ll also have access to a private forum for Build Your Business coaches throughout the 4 weeks for support and feedback anytime.

What if I am a coach, but not a Change Coach? If I did the Change Coach Home Study Course, can I still join this course?

Unfortunately, no. The Build Your Business live course is only open to Change Coaches who have completed the live 5-month training. We are working on a course the those who have completed the Change Coach Home Study course. Contact support@dramyjohnson.com if you’d like to be notified when this course is ready.

How is the 2022 BYB Program different from the 2021 Program?

The 2022 program will focus more on client enrollment and creating your website while in the course. There will be homework each week to support you in taking action on what is taught in the program.

Dror has been working with businesses and entrepreneurs, including coaches, for over 25 years. He is currently the Business Development Manager for DrAmyJohnson.com.

Nipper Sorensen

Nipper has been in administration and project management for 25 years in industries such as automotive, healthcare, live entertainment and wellness. She is currently the Operations Manager for DrAmyJohnson.com.

Julie Chazotte

Julie is a Certified Change Coach who guides and supports individuals and businesses in navigating life with greater ease. With masters degrees in education and in spiritual psychology, Julie has over 18 years of experience in the field of education and coaching. She is a leader in the Change Coach Community for Certified Change Coaches.
