Consider what it might be like to not carry anything through time.
To not carry your clung-to identities or problems around. To not be checking on, or “working on” anything.
Notice how often you check on your issues. How am I doing? How’s my progress? How’s my problem?
I want to suggest that none of this is helpful. It may be normal, and it may be what a mind does, but it’s not helpful at all.
What if leaving all of that behind has zero downside?
