Each time I write on this topic, or post a quote like the Sydney Banks quote above on Facebook, some people disagree.  That’s not surprising at all.

Therapy culture has taught us that revisiting the past is essential. That it’s perhaps the only way of feeling better in the present and moving forward unencumbered.
